  • Dr Puja Rai, is a Specialist Ophthalmologist at JTS Medical Centre.

    She completed her Post graduation under the Diplomate of National Board, New Delhi. Building upon her academic success, she pursued a long-term cornea fellowship at the prestigious Aravind Eye Institute, Madurai, known for its excellence in eye care and research. She received formal training in Phacoemulsification from Trilochan Netralaya, Orissa.

    Following her fellowship in Madurai, she has served as a Consultant Cornea, Refractive and Cataract surgery at Rangalakshmi Netralaya, Bangalore, for more than two years. Subsequently, she joined Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore as a faculty member in the Ophthalmology department, and later worked as a house officer at BDBA municipal Hospital in Mumbai.

    With a focus on anterior segment surgeries, Dr Puja has amassed extensive experience in cataract surgeries and her proficiency extends to refractive surgery, corneal transplants, collagen cross linking of cornea, ocular surface carcinoma surgery and treating other complex corneal conditions.
