JTS Medical Centre Jumeirah is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Abhay Dandawate, a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon, to their team. With 30 years of experience working in India, the UK, and the UAE, Dr. Dandawate has established himself as an expert in orthopaedic procedures.

Dr. Dandawate completed his medical degree from GS Medical College in Mumbai, India, and went on to obtain his post-graduate qualifications from the same institute. He then completed five years of training in the UK, including a Fellowship in Spinal Surgery from Oswestry, and obtained his MCh Orth. from Liverpool University. With his extensive qualifications and training, Dr. Dandawate is a leading specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery in Dubai.

With a strong belief in cultivating a healthy doctor-patient relationship, Dr. Dandawate is known for his exceptional surgical acumen and patient care. His expertise includes fracture fixation, spinal surgeries including discectomy and spinal fixation, arthroscopic surgery for sports injuries involving the knee, shoulder, or ankle, as well as joint replacement surgeries for knees and hips.

Dr. Dandawate has previously served as the Head of Department for Orthopedics at Mediclinic-Welcare Hospital, Dubai, and established their Orthopedics Department.
