JTS Medical Centre is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Shilpa Mhatre, a highly experienced Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, to our esteemed medical team. With over 15 years of post MD experience, Dr. Mhatre has earned a reputation for her exceptional patient care and dedication to women’s health.

Having worked at prestigious healthcare institutes in UAE and India, Dr. Mhatre brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to JTS Medical Centre. She is committed to upholding the highest standards of healthcare and has a strong passion for educating women and teenagers on healthcare awareness.

Dr. Mhatre’s extensive certifications include a Certified Training Course in Obstetrics and Gynecological Ultrasound and Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring, a Diploma in Gynecological Endoscopy and Hysteroscopy, and a Certificate course Training in Human Assisted Reproductive Technology. She has also completed NHS Certified Masters Certificate training in Urogynecology’s Basic & Advanced.

Dr. Mhatre’s areas of expertise include the management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Menstrual Irregularities, pre and postmenopausal problems, management of ovarian diseases, abnormal Pap smear and Infertility, Adolescent gynecology, as well as the management of Normal and High-Risk pregnancies. She is also skilled in performing laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries.

Her scope of practice includes antenatal management of Normal and High-Risk Pregnancies, antenatal classes, post-natal complications related to breastfeeding, obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound, Pap smear, prevention, screening, and management of abnormal Pap smear (CIN) & cancer of the reproductive organs. Dr. Mhatre is also proficient in managing menstrual disorders, recurrent miscarriage, sexually transmitted diseases, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, ovarian cysts, menopausal symptoms, family planning, cryotherapy, and well-woman care. She also specializes in the management of teenage gynecological problems and screening for breast diseases.
