JTS Medical Centre is hiring Registered Nurse to care for our patients by promoting patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
Skills & licensing requirements:
- DHA license or Eligibility letter
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institute/college/university
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the home country and in the current place of practice or residence
- Up to date Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of emergency care
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Providing safe, effective patient care using professional knowledge and skills in accordance with Nursing Practice Standards, policies, and procedures within the DHA Registered Nurse Scope of Practice and consulting doctor’s guidance.
- Assist doctors during consultations and procedures
- Guide the patient on allied health and diagnostic procedures
- Clinical documentation as per the JTS Medical Centre Health Record Policies
- Assist the patient to book appointments, follow-up, etc.
- Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all levels.
- Perform routine procedures (Vitals, administering injections, IV, ECG etc.) and fill in patients’ records
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain infection control guidelines, excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
- Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
