Indian Psychiatrist Dr. Sweta Shah has joined JTS Medical Centre
Dr. Sweta underwent specialized training in Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Family Therapy, and Behavioural therapy from the renowned National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore, India after completing her postgraduate training in Psychiatry in the year 2010. She gained experience in treating mental health problems in adults and children while she was practicing in Mumbai.
Her area of expertise includes clinical evaluation & management of pediatric and adult patients suffering from a wide variety of acute & chronic illnesses:
- psychotic disorders
- Neurotic Disorders
- Personality disorders
- Treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Autism spectrum disorders
- management of stress-related conditions.
Dr. Sweta also has a keen interest in child psychiatry, women’s mental health issues, family counseling, and dementia.
Dr. Sweta has presented many papers internationally and she was keenly involved in teaching whilst in India. She is actively involved in mental health problem awareness programs.
Being an Indian Psychiatrist she is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, & Gujarati
Dr. Sweta is learning Arabic.
