JTS Medical Centre is proud to announce that Dr. Suruchi Walvekar has joined our team of medical professionals as a Specialist Radiologist. With over 11 years of experience, Dr. Walvekar comes with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various modalities, such as CT Scans, MRI Scans, X-Rays, Ultrasounds, Mammography, and more. She is particularly skilled in Women’s Imaging, Body Imaging, and Neuroimaging, making her an invaluable addition to our medical centre.

Before joining JTS Medical Centre, Dr. Walvekar worked as a Specialist Radiologist in Advanced Diagnostic Centre, Dubai, and as a Consultant Radiologist in Radplus Teleradiology Solutions, India. She has also held significant positions, including Senior Residency in Katihar Medical College, India, for a year and a half, and Trainee in Focus Imaging and Research Pvt Ltd, India, for two years. Additionally, she completed a three-month Fellowship at Nanavati Superspeciality Hospital, India.

Dr. Walvekar holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Radio-diagnosis from BJ Medical College & Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, India (2010). She completed her compulsory rotatory resident internship (CRRI) in Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai, India (2006), and her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Madurai Medical College, Madurai, India (2005).

Dr. Walvekar is also a published author, with papers and publications to her name, including “Role of MRI in staging of Carcinoma Cervix in correlation with USG and CT scan” published in IJRDI in January 2020, and “A comparative study of CT scan versus MRI in diagnosing Laryngeal Carcinoma” published in IJRHAS in July-August 2017.
