JTS Medical Centre is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Mahendra Rajan to our esteemed team of surgeons. With over 28 years of experience in general surgery and a specialization in minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Rajan brings a wealth of expertise to our hospital.

Dr. Rajan completed his medical education at reputable institutions, including Madras University and TN Dr. MGR Medical University in India. He further refined his skills with a Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery from Taiwan in 2015.

Prior to joining JTS Medical Centre, Dr. Rajan served in a specialized gastro-surgical unit, where he performed a wide range of advanced gastrointestinal surgeries, including hepatectomies and pancreatic resectional surgeries. His proficiency extends to managing complex GI surgical problems, such as Crohn’s disease and biliary injuries.

As a member of prestigious medical associations like the Indian Medical Association and the Association of Surgeons of India, Dr. Rajan is committed to delivering high-quality care to his patients. He is skilled in various laparoscopic procedures, including appendectomies and gall bladder surgeries, and is adept at performing advanced laparoscopic surgeries like fundoplication and colectomy.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rajan enjoys staying active with interests in running, scuba diving, and adventure sports. Fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil, he looks forward to serving the diverse healthcare needs of our community at JTS Medical Centre.
